Eternal Sun at the Grand Egyptian Museum

Eternal Sun opens in the Grand Hall of the Grand Egyptian Museum from 1 November 2026. The official shop calls it a 35-minute immersive light experience. Projection mapping, music and bilingual storytelling run after dark. Book a timed slot on tickets.gem.eg/events/eternalsun. Egyptian adult, over 12, is EGP 480. Egyptian child, 6 to 12, is EGP 240. Other-nationality adult is EGP 1,500. Other-nationality child, 6 to 12, is EGP 750. Bring valid ID. Youm7 says non-Egyptian spouses and children of Egyptian citizens can buy the Egyptian rate with a marriage certificate or a birth certificate. Arab visitors pay the other-nationality rate. Age 6 and over. Children under 6 are refused. Anyone under 15 needs an adult.

Arrive 30 minutes before the slot on your ticket. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, valid only for that date and time, single entry. The show uses lasers, flash and loud music. GEM says it is unsuitable for epilepsy or sensitivity to flashing lights. Personal photos and video on a phone only. Flash, tripods, selfie sticks, drones and livestream are banned. Alexandria Desert Road, Giza. Buy the Eternal Sun product. A daytime gallery pass is a separate ticket. Pick the night on the official calendar. Saturday and Wednesday the museum complex already stays later. On other weekdays the galleries close at 18:00, so the slot you buy is the one that matters.
